Innovative Teaching Grants
The Aledo Education Foundation has awarded over $2,100,000 in grants since its inception in 2013.

GRANTS DUE DECEMBER 7th, 2023
PURPOSE
Innovative Teaching Grants are designed to encourage, facilitate, recognize and reward innovative and creative instructional approaches to the accomplishment of program objectives. The Aledo ISD Education Foundation (AEF) is offering teachers and administrators the opportunity to apply for grants to support innovative programs or projects to support higher levels of student learning. The grants must enhance student academic performance and support the objectives, goals, and initiatives of the Campus and District Improvement Plans.
PERSONS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR GRANTS
Individuals or teams of individuals employed by Aledo Independent School District who are involved in the instruction of students or related support services benefiting students.
ELIGIBLE PROPOSALS
Instructional approaches or projects should be designed to begin each school year and meet the selection criteria. Grants may fund instructional and classroom materials, parent involvement programs, or any activity or material which supports higher levels of student academic achievement.

Established in April of 2017, this grant seeks to support innovative and impactful requests from AISD students and teachers that are seeking funding for projects or opportunities for which the standard AEF Grants cannot or do not fund.
Permanent District Staff such as Administrators, Teachers and/or students can be awarded up to the full amount of their request ($2,500 maximum) for their project or opportunity, or a portion of their request at the discretion of the Fast Cash Committee. The application process is competitive as there are limited funds.
